Climate change is a real and undeniable threat to our entire civilization.The effects are already visible and will be catastrophic unless we act now. Through education, innovation and adherence to our climate commitments, we can make the necessary changes to protect the planet. These changes also provide huge opportunities to modernize our infrastructure which will create new jobs and promote greater prosperity across the globe.

United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The primary international organization addressing climate change. It hosts annual COP conferences where countries negotiate and collaborate on climate-related issues.


Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

Assesses scientific information related to climate change and its impacts and provides policymakers with reports to guide climate-related decisions.


Green Climate Fund

Helps developing countries in mitigating and adapting to climate change and provides financial assistance for projects and programs.


World Meteorological Organization

Contributes to international cooperation in meteorology, climatology, hydrology, and related fields and plays a crucial role in monitoring and understanding climate change.


World Bank – Climate Change Group

Supports developing countries in implementing climate-resilient and low-carbon development projects.

Find a Goal 13 charity you want to support. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference!

Recycle paper, glass, plastic, metal and old electronics.

Compost. Composting food scraps reduces climate impact while also recycling nutrients as rich soil for gardens.

Bike, walk or take public transport. Car share or save the car for trips when you are a group.

Choose reusable products. Use a reusable eco-bag for shopping and a reusable water bottle or a cup to reduce your plastic waste.

Buy eco-friendly products. Read the packaging to see if products are produced in  eco-friendly, sustainable ways.

Consume less meat and be a vegetarian for one day each week. The meat production industry has a huge impact on the environment.

Reduce your use of paper. Avoid printing by using  electronic devices or carriers. Don’t shop for pets! Adopt an animal from your local animal shelter.
